Aamar discovered his strengths in finance and entrepreneurship from a young age. After setting up his first business, Funding invoice, in 2015, Aamar recognised the increased demand for a bespoke service that supported fashion brands in particular. And so, with a little help from his friends, The Lacuna Collection was born.

Aamar has become a true force to be reckoned with, receiving numerous awards and recognitions, including being featured as one of ‘20 under 25’ startup entrepreneurs to watch.

Aamar’s most important piece of business advice is, in his own words, to ‘outwork everyone else, outwork your competition and you’ll be on the road to success’.

During his spare time Aamar enjoys boxing, spending time with his team and watching his favorite football team, Arsenal.

Kautham Haran

Co-Founder

Kautham was born in Stockholm, Sweden but spent his time growing up in London, UK. Kautham is a Warwick University graduate who discussed the groundwork for Funding Invoice with Aamar during their final year at university.

Kautham is an avid sports fan, with honorable mentions to football and cricket! As a result of COVID-19 he has found time to read and play the violin during the spare time he used to dedicate for sports!

Kautham is all about the numbers! His natural strengths lie within logistics and analysis, “working out how all the different pieces of the puzzle need to fit together is a challenge I cherish” he explains.

Kautham’s valuable business advice is to “always remember what problem you are solving? Getting too immersed in an initial idea can distract from this and so sometimes client feedback can save lots of time and answer many questions”.

Rae

Director of Operations

Rae oversees the warehouse operations for The Lacuna Collection, specializing in logistics and directing the entire fulfillment process.

Rae enjoys the problem-solving aspect of his role, as well as the fast-paced environment and working closely with his different clients.

As a father of four, he is passionate about spending quality time with his family, this includes coaching a youth football team.

Rae’s most important business advice is ‘work hard and don’t forget to smile!’
